Escondido Sunrise Rotary; “Temporarily Unable to Meet in Person; But Reminded of Who We Are as a Serving Organization”… March 28, 2020

Editor’s Note…

As we all try to conduct our professional pursuits in new ways, it’s appropriate to remind ourselves of who we are as a Serving Organization… Our accomplishments, our fellowship and the reminder of our many successes is valuable as we await the time we can gather together again…

President Brian is getting frustrated with ‘twiddling his thumbs’ as he awaits the return of his trusty gavel…

It’s interesting to contemplate how his Presidential year is shortened by this international pandemic… Perhaps his leadership term should be extended so club members can get the full value of his special ‘Blarney’…

Rotary Foundation Donations:

Past President Kevin Svetich recently circulated an email describing the accomplishments of Escondido Sunrise Rotary in donating the the Rotary Foundation.

According to Kevin; Last year the Escondido Sunrise Rotary Club contributed $28,409 to the annual fund. With our membership recorded at forty-eight members, our per capita giving to the annual fund amounted to $591.85. Now is the time to re-commit to your giving generously to the Foundation…
