Tree Lighting on Grand
With the help of George Weir and several elves (Rich & Donna Aeling, John & Donna Boyce & Rozanne Reguly the tree was beautifully decorated and all lit up for everyone to see
Barry Baker was in Utah visiting his grandkids in Utah
Tina Pope was with family in Tennessee
Richard Agnew was in Ohio during Thanksgiving to celebrate his dad’s 80th birthday
Chris Lesso talked about a bike program where bikes are donated to kids in the foster care system. These kids go through so much trauma and abuse and this is one way to give back. Along with the help of Rich Aeling and others there were many bikes to give out. Rich also told Chris that he had 5 more bikes to donate as well
High 5 & Announcements:
Dave Herbert visited his daughter in Oregon and brought a gift back for Tina
Rich mentioned the pajama drive and thanked everyone for helping out. Also, a big thank you to his sister MaryEllen who has been a huge help. The deadline to bring pajamas is December 15th.
Kevin also gave an update and encouraged everyone to attend and bring an unwrapped toy to the 12th annual Community in Unity event which is this Wednesday, December 8th at City Hall.
Rich gave Tina a gift too, a very tiny gavel which has been missing for a while. So the story goes that Rich’s sweet wife Donna washed his jeans in hot water and didn’t know the gavel was in the pocket of those jeans
Mike Dunlap also had a gift for Tina, on his trip to Mexico he brought back a purse with margarita glasses and chips
Jim Ponder talked about a letter that the club received from the National Division of the MS organization that expressed their thanks for the donation from our annual 5K event. They were extremely grateful
Tina also presented a thank you gift to Jim Ponder for all of the hard work he contributed on the event this year
John Schwab passed around a sign-up sheet for the bell ringing at Major Market. A huge thank you to John for taking care of this for our club this year
Rich reminded everyone about the bike build this Saturday 12/10 at Aelott A/C
Don’t forget the Christmas party which will be on December 15th, there will be breakfast and a fun gift exchange. If you want to participate, please bring a wrapped gift. Spouses are welcome too

Bob Burson and Dave Herbert interviewed each other. They did a really good job for not knowing they were going to do this
Also, Mike O’Malley and Mark Quick interviewed each other
Another emotional meeting as Mark Hoekstra spoke about his beautiful wife Glynna and how they were doing since they found out several weeks ago that she was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer called Paget’s. He took us through their journey so far and it was so amazing watching him talk about this. He was informative and wanted us to know how appreciative he has been with the support they have received. We are committed to pray for Glynna and the whole family and are here for whatever they need. Thank you Mark for your raw honesty and genuine love for your precious wife

The pot is still growing because unfortunately Tina didn’t get that joker and Doug Schultz walked away with $26 for lunch. Good luck next week………...
Next Week’s Meeting:
We will be celebrating Christmas with our annual Christmas breakfast and fellowship. Please expect to stay a little late, it most likely will go over
